Route de Rêverie — Edition I

The very first edition of Route de Rêverie brought together four women who had never met before. What started as a shared ride slowly unfolded into something much more personal: conversations between coffee stops, laughter during ferry crossings, quiet moments on winding backroads and a growing sense of familiarity amongst complete strangers.

Because Route de Rêverie was never created to be a traditional group ride. It was designed for women who are looking for more than just the ride. Women who enjoy riding, but also feel drawn to atmosphere, beautiful places, meaningful pauses, good food, culture and genuine connection. Throughout the day, motorcycles became the vehicle for discovery. Not only of new roads and landscapes, but also of each other.

The route led us through the Dutch countryside, past rivers, historic streets and hidden roads. Along the way, we shared a thoughtfully prepared lunch, visited a contemporary art exhibition and ended the day with a hidden final stop amongst the trees, where strangers no longer quite felt like strangers anymore.

Edition I confirmed something quietly powerful: there are women looking for a softer, more intentional way of experiencing motorcycle culture. Not rushed and not focused on proving anything. Just riding, discovering and connecting together.
A unique experience with a small group of like-minded women. The route took us through sensational landscapes, while the carefully chosen stops invited us to slow down, connect and let our imagination wander.
